Brett Hastings
Brett Hastings, a lifelong resident of the Jacksonville area, has committed his life to helping others. Brett limits his practice solely to clients who have suffered personal injuries. That is why the firm’s website is called JusticeforJacksonville.com. It simply states what Brett and the firm is committed to doing everyday – helping those in our community who have been injured seek and find justice.
Brett focuses on helping such clients in the moments and days following horrible circumstances to put the pieces of their lives back together, and to help guide them forward step-by-step until he obtains the justice due them. Brett surrounds himself with very competent staff who have the same goals and values in this regard as he does. He has built a successful team dedicated to achieving justice to the injured and less fortunate in Jacksonville.
Brett was raised by Joanne Hasting his single-parent mother, and a schoolteacher for over 30 years with the Duval County Public Schools. Joanne instilled in Brett at an early age that service to his community and having a true purpose in life are most important to achieving a satisfied life. This idea is best stated in one of Brett’s favorite Mark Twain quotes:
“The two most important days in your life are the day you were born,
and the day you find out why.”
